former St. Albertus College - renovations
Build in approximately the 40’s, the former St. Albertus College in Pietermaai was one of a few primary schools in the area. The structure across the street from the prominent Pietermaai Cathedral, originally housed 12 classrooms with the large gym and additional functions. In later stages, additional 1 classroom and showers were added.
Starting 2015, the complex has been transformed to the center for Performing Arts and Cultural Education, Kura di Arte.
To create this, over the years, various renovations have taken place from functional priorities to aesthetic upgrades and with a special Curaçao Painting project.
